Dr. Vicki C. Petropoulos, DMD, MS, FACP

Prosthodontist

Dr. Vicki Petropoulos is a highly acclaimed and accomplished Board Certified Prosthodontist who brings 23 years of experience in her expertise in Prosthodontics. Dr. Petropoulos provides specialized and customized care to her patients including simple restorative treatments, removable partial dentures, complete dentures, implant-supported overdentures, and same-day implant reconstructions.

During her career, Dr. Petropoulos has lectured nationally and internationally on implant-supported fixed and removable prostheses. She has received major prosthodontic awards at both national and local levels in recognition for her excellence in patient care. She is the recipient of the Charles E. English Implant Award for her novel approach to delivering care for a patient using immediately loaded implants. In 2012, her treatment and passion for a complex reconstruction was showcased in the prestigious Journal of Prosthodontics’ special edition “Inspirational Cases in Prosthetic Dentistry.”

Dr. Petropoulos graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine as well as a Prosthodontics Residency Program from Temple University School of Dentistry where she received her Certificate in Prosthodontics and was also awarded a Masters of Science in Oral Biology for her work in Implant Dentistry. She currently holds the distinction of Emeritus Standing Faculty from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she was a dedicated faculty, was engaged in private practice and critical research projects for over 20 years. She has lectured internationally, and has coauthored over 33 scientific articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
